The journey of flavours
Travel is a word that makes one feel hungry. It’s about the temptation of cuisines from countries near and far, about energy necessary to conquer long trips, about the need to replenish strength after arrival. Quite probably the fresh sea wind could be prescribed as a medicine against lack of appetite.
Take Off is a brand of two cafés in Tallinn’s airport and one on each of four ferries shuttling between Estonian mainland and islands Saaremaa un Hiiumaa. In the airport we help to spend time before departure and offer a moment of relaxation with coffee, salads, wok, pasta, hot sandwiches, desserts, cocktails, and much more – both to eat in and take away. People from all around the world are meeting here, creating a unique atmosphere.
On the modern ferries our menu also is wide but with a bigger emphasis on traditional North European dishes that are familiar to most people since childhood. A roomy dining hall and breath-taking sea views outside the portholes await you.
We’ll be glad to meet you. Let the tail-wind always be with you on your travels!
